This movie is better than Nolan's batman in depicting Gotham (way too sterile and wooden in Nolan's Batman). "Joker" got the city spot on, the setting felt alive, the people's anger made sense and felt real.

I really think that Arthur would make an amazing case study in support of why mental health resources are so essential to make sure everyone has a chance

Over-hyped and predictable. Not Oscar worthy unless it's the only film nominated.

if the first scene was in a real place, did he have all of the cars consent to be in the film????

Apparently, Kimmel doesn't know how to behave with a national treasure as Joaquin. Of all the ways Kimmel could go, and he thought this would be a great bit? Kimmel has proven to be a jerk. This felt so violating of a private moment processing with his art.

I will never look at movies the same after witnessing this theatrical masterpiece. It’s everything every other movie isn’t.

Todd Phillips is a freaking genius. Not only did he direct a masterpiece, but he chose the perfect cast.
